The original Icelandic website was launched as a static placeholder when there were only a few members in Iceland. But as the organization has become a lot more well established in the country, with regular activities and more members, there was a need to make it more reader friendly and attractive.

Ríkharður Leó Magnússon.

Nordfront has contacted Ríkharður Leó Magnússon, the chief of the Icelandic branch, who had the following comments regarding the need for an updated website:

“We needed to modernize the website in order to turn it from a temporary static site into a more dynamic one. We wanted to simultaneously give it a better look and make it easier for the reader to access relevant information. In addition to that, we’ve also managed to make it easier to update and change in the future, should a need for that arise.”

When asked his opinion on the results, he said:

“I am very pleased with the look of it, the user friendliness and the fact that it’s more easily navigable on a phone.”
