ACTIVISM. The Nordic Resistance Movement marked “Holocaust Memorial Day” with counter-propaganda across the Nordic countries on 27 January.
The activism – which saw the message “The Holocaust Is a Hoax!” displayed on posters, banners and even bars of soap – took place in over 35 municipalities across Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland.
Sweden
Activism was conducted in multiple municipalities in Sweden, including Boden, Borlänge, Gislaved, Gävle, Hässleholm, Jönköping, Karlshamn, Karlskrona, Karlstad, Klippan, Ludvika, Luleå, Munkedal, Ronneby, Sandviken, Skellefteå, Sollentuna, Stockholm, Sölvesborg, Tanum, Uddevalla, Umeå, Vetlanda and Örkelljunga.
Norway
Activism was carried out in central Bergen, mainly via posters. There was also a report of soap appearing at a “holocaust” monument.
Posters were also put up in Oslo, and soap was placed at the Israeli embassy, around the Storting, the city centre and on roads leading to the synagogue.

Denmark
Activities were conducted in the Danish municipalities of Aalborg, Aarhus, Birkerød, Haderslev, Hedensted, Hørning and Virum.
Iceland
Banners were put up over busy roads in Reykjavik (below) and Akureyri.
Informative articles about the “holocaust” were also published on the Resistance Movement’s Nordic-language websites to complement the activism.
