RESISTANCE NEWS. An official statement from the US State Department today declared the organization and its leaders a threat to the United States.
The decision is based on the United States’ fear of “racially or ethnically motivated threats of violence from extremists” and its stated commitment to combat this.
The Resistance Movement is said to pose such a threat as the leading “neo-Nazi” group in Sweden, with branches also in Norway, Denmark, Iceland and Finland.
It is further alleged without any evidence that the organization, which in Sweden is a fully legal registered political party, is very violent and has carried out attacks against political opponents and journalists, and that several members collect weapons and practice close combat.
In addition to the organization itself, the leader of the Nordic Resistance Movement, Fredrik Vejdeland, is absurdly listed alongside Pär Öberg and Robert Eklund.
The statement also prohibits US citizens from interacting financially with the organization and these three named individuals, for example by donating money.
