Since the beginning of 2021, Nest 2 have begun organising martial arts training at least once a month for everyone in the Nest.

The focus is mostly on training for the experienced; however, the inexperienced and sympathisers are naturally also welcome to participate, with the Nest offering instruction to those who are completely new to physical training.

On this occasion, the comrades started with running and stretching to warm up, before it was time to move on to various types of duo and combination exercises.

Once everyone had warmed up, the participants were divided into pairs based on their knowledge and requirements.

Everyone started with basic punches such as jabs, hooks and uppercuts, before progressing to various punching combinations like a left jab followed by a right hook.

While the activists went on to practise sparring, the others continued to work on technique. They began with body sparring and then ended with full-contact boxing.

As can often be the case when Resistance Movement activists practise sparring, there was some bloodshed during some of the rounds.
