ACTIVISM. Sweden’s Nest 2 lit up Bohus Fortress with the aid of their new laser projector at the weekend.
Activists from Nest 2 decorated Bohus Fortress, Kungälv, with the Tyr rune on Saturday, 9 January, during the first public use of their new laser projector.
The illuminating symbol enjoyed excellent visibility in the January darkness, and the many motorists on the busy E6 road had a hard time missing it.
One of the laser operators from Nest 2 said:
“The laser projector has been acquired in order to conduct many spectacular awareness activities. The idea originally came from the illuminated signs that are visible now and then in the Nest 2 region. This was a natural upgrade of a winning concept, especially in this dark season.”
The laser activism follows similar actions in Nest 8, where the Tyr rune and other messages and symbols were projected onto buildings in Norrköping. See photos below:
