“No More Brother Wars” protest for peace in Stockholm

ACTIVISM. Activists from Sweden’s Nest 1 held a banner action calling for peace between Russia and Ukraine on Sunday.

The activists gathered in Stockholm before jointly heading to the city’s Russian embassy. The decision to protest outside the Russian embassy was not intended as a statement of support for one side or the other in the war; rather, it was the most logical choice given that Russia has been the directly aggressive party, particularly in the eyes of the general public. In a different situation, the same banner could just as easily be used outside the American or Ukrainian embassy.

Information had been received in advance that there was already an unknown group with strange flags outside the embassy. Once the Resistance men arrived, they saw a peculiar crowd of Turks, elderly people and assorted hippie types who had come to protest against Putin.

When the activists unfurled their banner, some of the protestors graciously moved aside to give a prime spot to the Resistance Movement. Grumbles were heard from the relocating protestors, who claimed that their new, less visible, locations were reserved for “democrats”.

After a few minutes, the Stockholm police had received enough reinforcements to venture over to the Resistance men. They were very interested in the message on the banner and the activists’ flag, in addition to asking all the regular questions they always ask. As usual in Stockholm, they were met with unified silence. The police’s absurd harassment strategy to frighten the Resistance Movement will only lead to silent response and more resistance.

The banner with the text “WHITE UNITY – NO MORE BROTHER WARS” was photographed extensively. It was also observed that several onlookers didn’t know how to react when they saw the organisation led by the most dangerous man in the Nordic countries demonstrating for peace and goodwill among White brothers.

Because the Resistance Movement’s action was so successful, the police decided to proclaim the public order law PL24 in effect around the embassy and dispersed everyone from the vicinity. The Resistance men moved to the other side of street with the banner, instead of standing with the good democrats, until they were happy with the exposure gained from the action.

Afterwards, the Nest Chief decided the message should be seen by even more people and thus directed the group to National Road 73 to hold a banner action on a bridge. The same banner was used and flares were lit. Greetings and happy car horn beeps greeted the comrades continually throughout the hours they stood on the bridge.

A full day of activities in Stockholm

RESISTANCE MOVEMENT. Activists and members from Sweden’s Nest 1 held a full day of public and internal activities on Sunday, 13 February.

NRM banner action, Stockholm

The day began in the morning with a banner action from atop a bridge over one of Stockholm’s major access roads.

During the close to two hours the activity lasted, the activists received a predominately positive response from the thousands of passing drivers.

“We are the people!”

As usual the police showed up to “check that everything was calm”, and as usual they were met with silence as the answer to their questions.

Nest 1 has a policy of refusing to engage in dialogue with the police so long as the system’s lackeys continue to harass the Nest’s members when no criminal offence is suspected; e.g., when they search the Resistance men during activities or stop their cars while they are not even attending activities.

After the banner action, everyone went to an outdoor area for a tough and intensive training session at an outdoor gym.

When the training was over, it was time for the year’s winter bathing. Several of the participants bathed in an icy lake, while others contented themselves with cheering on their comrades.

What have politicians ever given you? – Public activity in Karlstad

ACTIVISM. Resistance Movement activists visited a sunny Karlstad last Saturday to spread the organisation’s pro-Nordic message.

On Saturday 19 February, a group of activists from Sweden’s Nest 5 and Nest 2 organised a public leaflet distribution in central Karlstad. The location was full of people looking to take advantage of the fine weather and everything the city has to offer. In addition to enjoying the winter sunshine, the activists got to meet lots of locals who were out and about. Everyone – from families and youths to pensioners – accepted leaflets from the Resistance Movement representatives.

The activists gave out leaflets with the headline “What have politicians ever given you?” The leaflet lists eight things politicians and the modern enemy state have given to the people, followed by a call to the reader to revolt against these criminals.

The activity proceeded at a good tempo, with all the leaflets being handed out. During the distribution, the activists held sporadic and extended conversations with both positively and negatively minded passers-by. Everything from cowardly jeers to well-wishes met the participants’ ears while the Nests showed their presence among the people.

“What have politicians ever given you? Mass immigration, government overreach, Cultural Marxism, environmental pollution, vaccine passes, materialism, corruption, a cashless society. Revolt against the criminals!”

It didn’t take long before the police arrived. This unnecessary visit consisted of a dozen officers, who mingled among the people and stationed their vehicles at all entrances to the town square to make their presence known. This brought an immediate reaction from passers-by. Questions like “What are all these police doing here?” and “Haven’t they got anything better to do?” were asked to the activists several times.

A comment on the war in Ukraine

0

UKRAINE. Swedish National Council member Robert Eklund comments on the war in Ukraine.

Ukrainian soldier

On Wednesday night, we heard the news that Russia had launched a full-scale military attack against its neighbour Ukraine. The Russian President stated during the night that Russia is conducting military operations in Donbas with the aim of “preventing Ukrainian aggression” and “demilitarising and de-Nazifying” Ukraine. The claim that the offensive concerns a small military operation limited to Donbas is contradicted by a large number of sources, with reports of air strikes against Ukrainian cities as far west as Lviv. There are also reports of Russian ground troops crossing the border between Ukraine and Belarus, and of fighting taking place on the outskirts of Ukraine’s second-largest city, Kharkiv. Other reports mention Russian troops advancing westwards from Crimea, as well as Russian paratroopers seizing an airfield on the outskirts of Kiev.

The conflict in Ukraine has proceeded at a low intensity for several years, since igniting shortly after the end of the Maidan coup in 2014. The breakaway republics in Donbas – Donetsk and Luhansk – have been de facto self-governing during these years, albeit under strong influence from the Kremlin.

Ukraine, on the other hand, has edged ever closer to the USA and NATO, both economically and militarily. The country has received large subsidies from both the USA and the EU, often accompanied by political demands. It has also received generous deliveries of military assets, chiefly of a defensive kind, in the form of anti-tank and anti-aircraft defences. Since the beginning of the conflict, Western military instructors have also been present to train the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Ukrainian perspective is quite easy to understand, as their people had to suffer for many years under communist rule. Most countries that struggled under the communist boot after 1945 now harbour a strong aversion to falling under Russian influence once again.

Ukrainian soldiers

Before this particular military conflict broke out, a number of demands were issued by Russia to the West, especially to the USA. These included the demand to end NATO’s eastward expansion, which from a Russian point of view is fairly reasonable and simple to understand. However, Russia’s demands, whether of a genuine nature or not, were met by a cold shoulder from an effectively united Western world.

Russia’s response to these negative answers came on Monday, when Putin officially recognised the Ukrainian breakaway republics, a move that was condemned by a united West. However, this condemnation rings rather hollow, as Russia is only following the West’s example when it comes to “legally” dividing countries. Here I am referring to Kosovo, which according to all normal procedures ought to belong to Serbia, but which was declared independent after military attacks by the USA and NATO.

The war is not really about Russia versus Ukraine. Rather, it is part of a larger conflict in which an increasingly expansive NATO stands opposed to a Russia that is, to some degree, being forced into a corner, but which also harbours revanchist dreams of reinstating itself as a global superpower that can impose its influence upon other countries, in the same way the American imperialists do.

We, the European people, now stand between two imperialist globalist blocs, one more powerful than the other. Our nations are being used as chess pieces in an increasingly aggressive geopolitical game. White Europeans are dying today, both on the Ukrainian and Russian sides. It is always tragic when our White folk comrades are sacrificed on the globalist altar. We cannot allow imperialist powers, whether they be called America or Russia, to dictate the conditions of how we in Europe choose to live and pursue our politics.

I do not believe that Ukrainian soldiers want to sacrifice their lives for the opportunity to allow homosexuals to parade on the streets of Kiev. I would rather believe that these soldiers, who are currently battling for their country, are fighting for the possibility of building a better Ukraine, free from the corrupt regime that was put in power by foreign interests. Western liberal democracy is not the solution to a Europe under threat. Nor is it the solution to preserving an independent Ukraine. Just as the solution to a free Ukraine and a free Europe is not Vladimir Putin and the Russian Republic.

Rather, the solution to hostile imperialist forces is known as Nationalism, or, more accurately, National Socialism. In any case, my position is clear. I stand 100% for Ukraine’s right to self-determination. A self-determination without Russian or American imperialist influence. A nationalist Ukraine, a healthy Ukraine that can serve as an inspiration to others.

Activism on the anniversary of the Dresden terror bombing

DRESDEN. Members of the Norwegian branch of the Resistance Movement remembered the victims of the Dresden terror bombing on the anniversary of the atrocity.

Dresden bombing memorial poster, Norway

On the anniversary of the terror bombing of Dresden, the Nordic Resistance Movement conducted activism to draw attention to the genocide that occurred in 1945.

Activists put up posters with the messages: “We must never forget the firestorm in Dresden” and “We must never forget the real holocaust”.

Below are some selected quotes from survivors describing the terror, followed by some photos from the actions conducted in Norway.

Young women carrying babies ran up and down the streets, their dresses and hair on fire, screaming until they fell down, or the collapsing buildings fell on top of them.

– German survivor

As the incendiaries fell, the phosphorus clung to the bodies of those below, turning them into human torches. The screaming of those who were being burned alive was added to the cries of those not yet hit. There was no need for flares to lead the second wave of bombers to their target, as the whole city had become a gigantic torch. Dresden had no defences, no anti-aircraft guns, no searchlights, nothing.

– Victor Gregg (British prisoner of war, survivor and author of the book Dresden: A Survivor’s Story).

Previous terror bombings of German cities had produced firestorms, but more as a side effect. However, the attack on Dresden was carefully planned with the specific intent of creating a firestorm. The first attack was to be followed by a far stronger one, three hours later. The Allies hoped this would “lure in” not only Dresden’s fire service, but also surrounding fire brigades and rescue workers – who would then be obliterated. It was assumed the first wave of attacks would knock out all forms of communications, which meant the air raid sirens of the German Air Force would be unable to warn the city’s inhabitants of the subsequent attacks.

Extraordinary meeting in Denmark with appointment of new National Chief

0

RESISTANCE MOVEMENT. The Nordic Resistance Movement held an extraordinary national meeting last weekend to announce the appointment of Jacob Vullum as National Chief of the organisation’s Danish branch.

Jacob Vullum, Danish meeting

On Friday, all active members of the Nordic Resistance Movement’s Danish branch were invited to an extraordinary national meeting, where they listened to a recorded message by the organisation’s leader, Simon Lindberg.

In the pre-recorded speech, Lindberg spoke about his views on the Danish struggle over the last four years since the establishment of the movement in Denmark, and about the need for fanatical fighters and a stable and strong leadership. With this in mind, the long-standing member, activist and Nest Chief Jacob Vullum Andersen was appointed as National Chief of the entire Danish branch of the Nordic Resistance Movement.

Excerpt from Simon Lindberg’s speech:

Following his appointment, Jacob Vullum Andersen gave a speech about his ideas and vision for the Resistance Movement in Denmark, as well as the need for the organisation to further embrace the original Nordic and Germanic people’s values and morality, which Vullum believes unite the members of the movement just as much as the political side of the struggle.

After speaking about idealism and vision, Vullum presented a number of changes to the structure of the Resistance Movement’s Danish branch.

When the formal meeting was over, the attendees gathered for a communal meal, which was followed by the opportunity to take material from the propaganda table, where T-shirts were also available for purchase.

In the evening, the attendees took part in a role-playing activity that was designed to increase their knowledge and ability when communicating during public leaflet distributions. In a light-hearted and humorous atmosphere, each of the participants assumed the roles of the activist and inquirer, respectively, while working through a training compendium featuring a wealth of questions and answers.

After the day’s programme was completed, the remainder of the evening consisted of socialising, watching activism videos on a big screen and playing various games.

The Nordic Resistance Movement would like to congratulate Jacob Vullum Andersen on his appointment as National Chief and wish him good luck in the role.
