Best response ever (and a little police harassment) – Actions at Summer Meet car show in Västerås

ACTIVISM. Over the course of two days, the Resistance Movement conducted very well-received activities at a major car show; however, the activism was not as popular with the police.

This year’s Summer Meet Västerås car show got underway on Thursday 7 July. The show is one of the largest in Europe and attracts thousands of car enthusiasts to Västerås, central Sweden, every year.

On Friday at 5 p.m., the annual classic car cruising took place, where all the cars are driven through Västerås with crowds of people sitting watching along the streets. The Nordic Resistance Movement took this opportunity to hold a bridge action at Lögarängsbadet with the message “White workers built this country. White workers can take this country back!”

The group stood in place for around three hours, and the response was incredibly good. Even the police, who arrived after a while to observe the Resistance men, behaved in an exemplary fashion – which proved not to last for the rest of the day.

When the group had concluded the action and were about to jump in their cars, an activist was suddenly arrested. It turned out he was suspected of having had a tradesman’s knife in his work car in 2021. The activist was released after questioning, and the comrades laughed long and hard over the absurd situation – partly due to the police coming to arrest someone on account of having a tradesman’s knife, and partly for questioning him in such a way one year after the alleged crime.

Later that evening, some of the group decided to go down and look around the show for a bit; then, from out of nowhere, a car with a Tyr rune flag on its rear window suddenly appeared, prompting the comrades to go over and exchange friendly opinions with the owner.

The activism continued on Saturday. This time the comrades stood on a roundabout next to the large motor show with a banner and flags. Never before had anyone in the group received such a good response from passers-by. This included everything from thumbs-up to supportive shouts and even cars that started playing nationalist music. There were also several occasions when the activists had to stop themselves from reflexively responding to people who raised their arms in forbidden victory salutes.

The comrades stood there for two hours before the ugly snout of the law showed up and decided the Resistance Movement were getting too good of a response. It began with a motorcycle cop approaching and more or less parking in front of the banner with his vehicle; although this was easily counteracted by the activists taking a few steps past the policeman.

Next, both a police van and radio patrol car came and parked in front of the banner, with the officers deciding it was the ideal place to conduct breathalyser tests on passing drivers. After the activists told the police exactly what they thought of them, they moved on and took up positions right outside the car show. They stood there for about another hour, with the same good response.

Two days of struggle in Västerås subsequently concluded with a social activity featuring a very pleasant barbecue evening with good food and a lot of laughter. We end this report with a quote from one of the activists who stood on the roundabout:

I felt like a freaking rock star!

Calling for the extermination of Jews? – Several days of activism in Örkelljunga

ACTIVISM. So much activism has been conducted in Örkelljunga in southern Sweden lately that the Jewish-owned lying press felt compelled to lie a little more than usual. Read the whole report from Marcus Hansson here.

For five days in a row, the schedule in Sweden’s Nest 3 was filled with election activism, which began on Sunday with a visit to the Farmer Days market in nearby Åstorp Municipality.

From Monday to Thursday, electioneering work took place in Örkelljunga Municipality. From the first day in Örkelljunga, the members and activists made a good impression on local people, who recognised them from previous activities. This must have made Bonnier News angry, as the next day the following was written in their newspaper Helsingborgs Dagblad:

The group are said to have distributed leaflets that included a call to ‘exterminate Jews’.

On Tuesday, the same day Helsingborgs Dagblad spread their lies, an elderly man approached during the public activity. He did not agree with the Resistance Movement’s politics, but still thought it was brave of the activists to stand up for them. He had heard the lie about the alleged call to exterminate Jews and asked for all the different leaflets distributed in the municipality so he could read the contents for himself.

Hopefully this will be the start of an awakening for him and many others in the town when it comes to how the Jewish media lies shamelessly about the Resistance Movement for political ends. Not even the police seem to have taken the lies seriously, as they did not bother checking the leaflets that were distributed in the following days.

The schedule for the week of election activism

The schedule for each of the days involved holding a public leaflet distribution every morning, the location of which rotated between various supermarkets in Örkelljunga Municipality.

Every day after the public leaflet distribution, we ate lunch together, before delivering leaflets to households. Then we usually conducted some physical training.

On several of the days, we also took the opportunity to take a cooling dip in some of the municipality’s many lakes. This sometimes became a longer session with swimming.

The response

There were both positive and negative reactions over the course of the days. The negative often consisted of women or emotional, passive-aggressive men. They said they liked refugees, but when they were asked if they opposed the bombings of Middle Eastern countries by the democratic republic of the United States that created these streams of refugees, no disavowals were forthcoming.

Some people were not familiar with the Nordic Resistance Movement or the fact that we are standing for election. They opted to take leaflets from the distributors and said they would read them when they got home.

As the days went by, some people at the public activities said they had already read the leaflets, as they had been delivered to their mailboxes when several smaller communities in the municipality were covered earlier in the week.

Örkelljunga is visited by a lot of Germans during the summer, but there are also a number of Danish-born people who live in the municipality or who visit during the warmer months of the year. The Danes were informed about the Danish branch of the Nordic Resistance Movement, while the Germans were told about healthy alternatives in Germany.

Mixing business with pleasure proved to be a successful concept for those of us who were most active. It also led to improved solidarity, because we lived, ate, trained and conducted public activism together for several days in a row. Several similar weeks of electoral activism will hopefully be held in Örkelljunga before the election in September!

Public actions in Grängesberg in Sweden’s Nest 5

ACTIVISM. Sweden’s Nest 5 spent the beginning of July conducting recurring activities in a small town in Ludvika Municipality.

Nest 5 were in Grängesberg, outside Ludvika, on the first two weekends of July to hold public leaflet distributions. The days saw a lot of people out and about in the town, enjoying the shops and the summer weather. The public activism was accompanied by flag bearers and a coffee table with refreshments for passers-by.

Another complement to the action was a banner that decorated the wall behind the participants. The message on the banner was intended to criticise the parliamentary system in a humorous tone, while informing the public that participation in an election does not mean slavishly playing the parliamentary game.

The activity passed at a good tempo, with all the leaflets being handed out. During the distributions, the activists held both sporadic and extended conversations with positively and negatively minded local people.

Newspaper forced to pay compensation to the Resistance Movement after stealing photos

0

RESISTANCE MOVEMENT. Bonnier News had to pay the Resistance Movement some compensatory shekels after its newspaper Skånska Dagbladet stole photos from the organisation’s Swedish website.

Nordic Resistance Movement members stand around Christmas tree at meeting

The Resistance Movement’s Swedish website – Motståndsrörelsen.se – previously reported two festive celebrations in Sweden’s Nest 3 – a traditional Christmas dinner and a ceremonious gathering on 20 April. The Skånska Dagbladet newspaper, which is now owned by Bonnier News (which owns most of the newspapers in Sweden) did not appreciate such events being celebrated by proud Nordic men and women. As such, they stole a total of four beautiful photos from the articles and used them to illustrate a hit piece criticising the family gatherings, in the hope that such events would not take place in the future.

Because the images belonged to Motståndsrörelsen.se, the publication demanded compensation, with the threat of legal action, unless 6,000 Swedish kronor (approximately 570 US dollars) was paid to the website by Skånska Dagbladet. Last week, Skånska Dagbladet decided to pay for their copyright infringement. Motståndsrörelsen.se has therefore become 6,000 kronor richer, paid for by the Jewish Bonnier family’s company.

We asked the editor-in-chief of Motståndsrörelsen.se, Simon Lindberg, what he will do with the money:

“We’ll have a party with roast pig and shellfish! Ha ha, no, but there are always a huge number of things money needs to be spent on, as we run Motståndsrörelsen.se on a completely non-profit basis, with all expenses being paid for via contributions. This money will pay for servers and other things for some time to come. Above all, however, it is an important statement from us that people cannot steal our photos whenever it pleases them – and that the same laws apply when dealing with us as they do with everyone else.”

How the Nordic Resistance Movement became international

Today, Nordiska motståndsrörelsen/the Nordic Resistance Movement has several English-speaking podcasts, a website in English that is updated daily and international correspondence.

And it all started with a demonstration in Stockholm and the creation of Nordic Frontier.
