Nordic Man of the Year 2020

RESISTANCE MOVEMENT. The Nordic Resistance Movement presents a video from the Nordic Days 2020 pentathlon and an interview with the Nordic Man of the Year, Martin Saxlind.

This year’s Nordic Days event was once again very successful, as previously reported on NordicResistanceMovement.org. One of the most popular features on the agenda was the pentathlon, which was enjoyed by the participants and spectators alike despite the initial heavy rain.

The pentathlon consisted of team wrestling, a Nordic shield battle, tug of war, an obstacle course and weightlifting. It was a balanced competition in which strength, agility, tactics and will were decisive factors in determining victory.

After a hard day of competition, Martin Saxlind was finally announced as 2020’s Nordic Man of the Year.

Martin is not just a long-serving activist and the acting nest chief for Nest 4; he’s also the editor-in-chief and a writer for Nordfront, as well as one of the hosts on Radio Nordfront.

Below is a selection of his written articles:

Martin did particularly well in the final and decisive individual deadlift event, in which he performed 17 military press reps with a weight of 50 kg. The other exercises in the final event were the farmer’s walk and regular deadlifts.

The winner, Martin Saxlind.

Martin was a well-deserved winner, as Cedric Höglund described in his account of Nordic Days 2020:

I think all of the event’s attendees agreed that Martin truly deserved the title of Nordic Man of the Year, as he wasn’t just a clear winner in the pentathlon and final individual weightlifting event, but also because he advances the struggle for the Nordic people with pride 365 days a year.

Interview with the Nordic Man of the Year

It’s well known that you train often and train hard. When did you first begin to work out?

I started strength training when I was in high school, working out at home with a barbell, bench and door trapeze in the garage. Before that I had played football and practised athletics pretty much all of my childhood. When I left home, I did a lot of bodyweight and circuit training for a few years before I got a gym membership.

What is your exercise regimen like today?

I have modified my training routine a bit over the years, and right now I’m improvising and going with my gut feeling. My main goal at the gym is to get better at basic exercises, and my schedule is quite fluid because some basic exercises require more rest days than others. I also do a lot of other exercises besides basic exercises, and some mobility training when I’m at the gym too. One tip is to do an exercise such as leg stretches if you’re doing heavy bench presses and have long rest periods between each set. Or you can superset an extra exercise that doesn’t disrupt your main one but still hits a muscle you’re working on that day. I do a lot of that, which makes the workouts long, but I also have the time to lift and stretch a lot.

How long have you been in the Resistance Movement?

I joined in 2011, I believe, so about nine years now.

What do you think about this year’s Nordic Days compared to last year?

What stood out this year was probably the large number of children who were present, and that the organisation was very good. Otherwise it was like usual – filled with things happening all day and friendly socialising during the breaks. Another thing of note was the amount of arm wrestling when the bar opened in the evening.

Who are your role models?

There are a lot of people I’ve been inspired by and look up to, both living and dead, so it’s a little difficult to choose one to highlight. But I can mention someone who’s a little less well-known and the person I’ve learnt the most from this year: Jocko Willink. He’s an American former elite soldier and war veteran who released a book at the beginning of the year about leadership. It’s very well worth reading and is the best book I’ve read this year.

What is your favourite quote?

I don’t know if I have a favourite quote. I like the Havamal quote about the only permanent thing besides death is that you will be remembered for your good deeds. Another quote that often (but not always) makes for a good attitude to have for strength training and martial arts is: “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”. In other words, instead of whining or feeling sorry for yourself, you should see pain, challenges and setbacks as possibilities to become stronger or wiser.

You are one of the Resistance Movement’s most driven and fanatical activists. What inspires you and makes you always keep fighting for the Nordic Nation?

I fight because we are right. Without revolutionary changes, our countries will continue to become more dysfunctional, degenerate and anti-white.

That was a nice dragon-slaying sword you earned for yourself. What kinds of dragons do you intend to kill with it in the future?

I don’t have anything against dragons and I’m in favour of biological diversity, so I’ll probably skip any dragon hunting.

Do you have anything else to add?

I can say in conclusion that gatherings like these are important to raise morale, expand networks and exchange ideas. Unfortunately the corona situation meant that this meeting was a little closed-off, and even in previous years the invitations have often not been public. Therefore many people who would have liked to be at Nordic Days didn’t even know about the meeting. If you are in that situation, you can always contact me or some other public member in the Resistance Movement.

RESISTANCE MOVEMENT. The Danish branch of the Nordic Resistance Movement presents a rare insight into one of the social and skill-building activities in the organisation.

The Danish branch of the Nordic Resistance Movement recently held an orienteering exercise in North Jutland, where the participants would test their abilities against the terrain of dense woodland and wetlands of Rold Forest.

Over two days, the participating members would learn to navigate with a map and compass, produce drinkable water, light fires in alternative ways, and undergo stress, lack of sleep, hunger and dehydration.

Here the Nordic Resistance Movement presents a rare insight into one of the social- and skill-building exercises in the organisation.

“Globalism Kills” activity in Randers

0

ACTIVISM. Activists in Denmark recently conducted an activity to put the corona crisis in its proper light – emphasising the fact that it pales in comparison with the other infinitely more serious biological crisis: White genocide.

“Globalism Kills”

Posters with the message “Globalism Kills” were spread around the Covid-19 test center in Randers, Denmark, on Tuesday night.

Activists from the Nordic Resistance Movement carried out this action to put the corona crisis in its proper light as something that pales in comparison to the other infinitely more serious biological crisis: White genocide.

A brief summary of Covid-19: Many infected, very few dead.

The Danish government’s Vaccination Institute states on their website that there have been a total of 633 deaths in the Covid-19 period, but with the footnote that “this calculation includes deaths that are registered within 30 days after the Covid-19 infection is detected. Covid-19 is not necessarily the underlying cause of these deaths.

Whether or not Covid-19 is a cause of death (for some), the 3.1% of deaths of infected (with the above footnote taken into account) is nothing compared to the 100% of White Danes who are exterminated by continued mass immigration as the result of Denmark’s current globalist policy.

As Danes, we recently experienced how the country’s ruling politicians go directly against the general will of the people, when the ban on circumcision was rejected by Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen to protect foreign elements in the Danish community.

Another example of the ruling politicians’ unilateral action to aid globalist interests occurred when then Prime Minister Lars Løkkeof signed the United Nations Migration Pact in Marrakesh, despite strong opposition within the party. This migration pact facilitates the movement of migrants across national borders, forcing the countries’ people to pay for the education of all these migrants. It also facilitates the migrants’ ability to send Danish tax money out of the country and weakens our freedom of expression.

The liberal democratic parliamentary political system, which includes every party, fails time and time again with its approach of putting globalist interests above the protection and preservation of the people. This globalist-led policy, from Left to Right, which puts economics and international relations before the people, will, in insidious fashion, bring with it the total annihilation of any White Danish family, as the economy and international conditions in particular require more and more immigration from non-European countries.

In this way, the liberal-democratic political system fails in the task of protecting the nation’s population, while consciously or unconsciously adding grist to the mill for the Jews in fulfillment of the diabolical Kalergi plan.

In his book Praktischer Idealismus from 1925, Count Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi, who is also considered one of the three spiritual fathers of the globalist EU, describes the population of the future “United States of Europe” as a rootless mass, mixed with Blacks and Asians. According to Coudenhove-Kalergi, the “Eurasian-Negroid race”, as he called it, will be reminiscent of the ancient Egyptians and be ruled by a Jewish aristocracy.

What is noteworthy in this context is that Coudenhove-Kalergi’s ideas of a racially mixed underclass governed by a Jewish ruling class were funded by the banker Max Warburg and financier Bernard Baruch on behalf of the banker Louis de Rothschild. All three men had a Jewish background and immense influence.

White genocide is a Jewish dream, which both then and today is financially supported by rich, powerful Jews, such as George Soros, who works with MasterCard to accelerate population replacement in the West. The Jew George Soros entered into a partnership with the credit card giant MasterCard, which for a long time has been developing the MasterCard Foundation project. Together they have created a common platform called Humanity Ventures.

Through his Open Society Foundations, Soros has funded various political projects, but in a joint press release, MasterCard and Soros wrote that “Humanity Ventures is intended to make money to stimulate investment from other financiers”. The explicit goal is to improve the lives of “refugees” with education, health care and economic development.

George Soros is also the Jew who recently breathed life into the fire of the racial riots in the USA by funding the activist organization OCAD (Organized Communities against Deportation), which is dedicated to preventing illegal immigrants from being deported from the United States. This organization works in conjunction with the Jewish-organized and funded movement Black Lives Matter, which together with Antifa is creating riots in many American cities.

Globalism Kills

In light of the sinister and ongoing genocide of Whites, also known as the population replacement, the Covid-19 crisis is far down the list of serious threats to the people.

The Nordic Resistance Movement is the only movement that puts the people first! It is the only movement that sees the population change, and also sees and dares to talk about its underlying forces. The Nordic Resistance Movement is the only movement that can present a complete solution to the question of the protection and preservation of the Danish people.

Nordic Days 2020

0

RESISTANCE MOVEMENT. On the weekend of 12-13 September, the first Nordic Days of the 2020s took place in Sweden’s Nest 2. Cedric Höglund reports on the event.

The decade’s first edition of Nordic Days, which this year Nest 2 had the honour of organising, was inaugurated in the early morning by Peter Albinsson, who bid everyone welcome and presented the plan for the day.

Opening of Nordic Days

As usual, the inauguration was one of the event’s highlights, and something that could only be experienced to its fullest by those present at Nordic Days. As in previous years, the functionaries stood proudly lined up before the stage, dressed in specially produced Nordic Days T-shirts, while ceremonial music played in the background.

The first speaker of the day was the leader of the Nordic Resistance Movement, Simon Lindberg. Simon spoke about one of the most important characteristics for a happy and victorious people, which the Nordic people today have unfortunately been deprived of, but which the Resistance Movement will one day reawaken within every Northerner – pride.

Simon Lindberg speaks about the importance of being proud of who you are.

Excerpt from the speech:

With a whole people who are proud of themselves. With a whole people who are proud they are of Nordic ethnicity. With a whole people who believe in themselves. Who know that they can accomplish whatever task they attempt. There are no boundaries to what they can achieve and how proud they can be of what they achieve.

Furthermore, Simon said that Nordic Days is not just a weekend when activists, members and sympathisers can socialise and have a good time together, but that this tradition has become like a national day, a day of celebration for the Resistance Movement and the future Nordic Nation.

To honour the North and the Nordic countries is a given for us in the Nordic Resistance Movement. Therefore let the Nordic Days be a day that – amidst the bouncy castles, speeches and competitions – is also a day when you stop and reflect on what it means to belong to the magnificent Nordic folk, and let this be a day when we can really stand tall and feel truly proud that we are Swedes, Norwegians, Finns, Danes, Icelanders – Nordic men and women. […] The importance of pride is greater than both gold and lead. Both gold and lead can help our proud people to progress in the struggle – although that is another matter. Yet without proud and heroic fighters, both are just useless metals.

After the speech, a very enjoyable lunch based on local food from the West coast was served.

Those who had finished eating could then go to the market in another area of the venue where numerous items were for sale, including homemade toothpaste, various kinds of homemade jams, jewellery, clothes and other accessories.

Pentathlon

This year’s Nordic Man of the Year competition consisted of five events. The first event was wrestling, and like previous years it was tough, with an activist suffering at least one broken rib.

A Nordic shield battle.

The second event was shield fighting, which involved pushing the opposition team off the field with the aid of Viking-inspired shields decorated with Old Norse runes. The third event was tug of war, and the fourth was an obstacle course. The obstacle course required the whole team to overcome all of the obstacles in the shortest possible time. The fifth and final event was just for the winning team and consisted of various types of weightlifting.

Tug of war.

Despite initial rain and cloudy weather, the activity was very popular with both the participants and the spectators.

The decisive and final individual competition was weightlifting, in which the competitors had to perform the highest number of repetitions within a set time.

Naming ceremony for a new generation

After a hard day’s struggle for the title of Nordic Man of the Year, a tasty and well-deserved dinner was served. When the food had been consumed and everyone was full and content, the venue filled with expectation ahead of the initiation of a new tradition – the naming ceremony.

One thing I, and presumably many others, noticed during the weekend was the growth of the organisation. This growth was not just from the new members and activists who had joined, but also – and perhaps foremost – from all the children who were present. This large addition of new blood to the Nordic tribe is something that brings much hope.

With dimmed lights and an atmosphere of anticipation, the ceremony began, and the stage was filled by proud new parents and their youngest children. Jimmy Thunlind then read aloud the meaning of each name the children had been given, and a moving ceremony took place. After the naming ceremony, the children were bestowed with a symbolic gift from the Resistance Movement’s leader Simon Lindberg.

Jimmy Thunlind congratulates the proud parents.

The tributes to the Nordic family didn’t stop there, however, but continued with the honouring of mothers. Paulina Forslund was the first to be awarded the Nordic Resistance Movement’s motherhood diploma, an accolade that was promised to more mothers within the organisation in the future.

The next item on the agenda was a lecture by National Council member Fredrik Vejdeland, who spoke about structural racism against whites. Fredrik illustrated from various angles how the Swedish state practises structural racism and ultimately downright anti-Swedish genocidal politics against the Swedish people. The lecture was well timed in regard to the many protests that have recently taken place against anti-white structural racism, something that Fredrik demonstrated does not exist. Fredrik also spoke about the importance of a proud and upstanding people in order to combat these genocidal politics.

Nordic Man of the Year

When the evening arrived and the sun was setting, it was finally time to award the prizes to the activists who came first, second and third in the Nordic Man of the Year competition. This year the prize for first place was a splendid and sizeable Viking sword.

The winner of Nordic Days 2020 was the long-standing and loyal activist Martin Saxlind. I think all of the event’s attendees agreed that Martin truly deserved the title of Nordic Man of the Year, as he wasn’t just a clear winner in the pentathlon and final individual weightlifting event, but also because he advances the struggle for the Nordic people with pride 365 days a year. A more informative article featuring an interview with Martin will be published soon.

The conclusion to a great day

The kitchen staff and organisers were given resounding applause after a hard day’s work of filling many stomachs and arranging and decorating the venue in a true National Socialist spirit. It was also announced that over 27,000 kronor had been donated to the Prisoner Support initiative. To conclude a great day, the bar was opened, and the attendees socialised until late in the evening with live music played on the stage in the background.

Henrik Pihlström performs.

As in previous years, Nordic Days 2020 was a weekend marked by folk community and celebration. It was a day that Nordic National Socialists will remember for many years to come, when new life-honouring traditions like the naming ceremony and mother’s diploma were established.

May this new decade be a decade of pride, when Nordic men and women march courageously forwards towards a brighter future under the Tyr rune.
